Lets get something out of the way before we delve into this completed build. I HATE THE RG LINE. I think it is redundant, and a waste of plastic and whats with the size? 1/144?! Seriously? The only reason I have this Aile Strike is because I won it via the EUGC that Kamm organized quite some time ago. That said, after building and completing this kit, I'm in love with how it LOOKS. Sure, I still hate the idea of the line, I still hate the size, but there is no denying that when done right, the RG kits look gorgeous.
Anyway, lets talk about the build. Nothing special, just a typical OOB paint job, with some preshading and a custom color scheme as is typical of myself. I hate the color blue, its the worst color in the color palette, and its the color that does most damage to the eyes! So I've swapped the colors out on this kit, whilst keeping the white. I ended up with some sort of cross between the Rouge and the normal strike, with a little twist. I felt that the white parts really lacked distinct color separation, so I mixed up a pale tan to go with the other "white" colors. And I think I hit the jackpot there, superb color and works so well with the kit by producing a great contrast. What do you guys think?
Anyways, here come the pictures!

I'm not going to lie, I had a hard time building this kit. I have large hands, and working on the tiny intricate pieces of this kit is a real pain (literally). The shoulder joints on the right arm are completely shot. The inner frame comprising the shoulder joints, broke during initial construction. I repaired them, but they remained loose. I also had issues with the enamel paint coming off while handling the kit. I repainted almost all of the silver and gold parts at least once to cover up the paint that rubbed off.
I took a lot of time to detail in inner frame of this kit by hand brushing gold and silver enamels. Any silver or gold on the weapons and armor of this kit were also hand brushed. I stuck with a stock paint scheme for this kit. But I blended the colors to have a brighter pastel/neon look to them. The color correction from the camera may have lessened this effect unfortunately! Uncharacteristically, I didn't use all of the decals on this it! I thought that all the panel lines and color separation already made for a busy design.

What can I say about this build...
The MG Sinanju was a very long and bumpy ride, fraught with frustration, broken parts, crappy paint jobs and rare water slide decals. I started this kit in November of 2011, right after finishing the MG GNX. It's been in WIP hell ever since.
Here are the basics:
Frame: Gunmetal, Silver, Gold
Armor: Silver and Clear Red
Gun: Dark Gunmetal, Silver, Clear Green
Sleeves: Gold & Black Enamel
Others: White, Black
The decals on this kit are a hodge-podge of Samuel Decal, and HG decals.
After finishing this kit I tracked down a set of official Bandai MG Sinanju water slide decals (Thanks to Traviss over at Gentei Kits!). So I guess this won't be my last Sinanju!
Sorry for the lack of action shots, but I really want to preserve the finish on this kit.
Enjoy the photos!

I'm nearly done with the Eternal. Just about everything is painted except for some of the tiny details on the METEOR units!
